SCHEIBE HOMEPLACE
This painting was done for the William Scheibe Reunion in 2022.
This farm was a thriving dairy farm back in the 1950's through the early 1990's when an E4 Tornado came through and wiped it off the planet in August of 2004. Nothing was left standing except the bent over silos. Fred Scheibe built the farm in the early 1920's and William and Doris Scheibe took it over in 1946 after they were married. They raised seven children on this farm and made it a productive, successful dairy farm over the years.
This painting was a door prize at the reunion.
